About Nagu Now
Nagu Now is a local quick guide to Nauvo / Nagu and the archipelago — ferries, routes, sights, events and local tips in one place.
What the site does
Nagu Now collects the most important practical things a visitor needs to know in order to get to Nauvo and find their way around the archipelago: current ferry and bus connections, day trip destinations (Utö, Jurmo, Seili / Själö, Brännskär), walking trails, sights and local businesses — in three languages.
How it is made
The site is handcrafted and designed to be easy to read on both mobile and desktop. The content is compiled by local people, from official sources (Finferries, Föli, Pro Nauvo and others) and is updated regularly throughout the season. The map uses OpenStreetMap, weather comes from Open-Meteo.
Content and visibility
All important local places — restaurants, cafés, shops, services, sights — appear on the map with a neutral basic pin, free of charge. Businesses can opt for a more prominent "sponsored" or "featured" placement with a richer popup. This is described on the Visibility on Nagu Now page.
