How to choose an area?

The Turku Archipelago has several distinct areas. A few questions to help you choose:

First visit to the archipelago. Nagu is a good starting point — services, restaurants, harbour and good onward connections.
Cycling or driving the Archipelago Trail. Stay in 2–4 areas: Nagu, Korpo, Houtskär, Iniö or Gustavs.
Quickest from the mainland. Pargas is the trail's starting point and the closest larger town.
The outer archipelago. Iniö or Houtskär. Both require a connection ferry or a longer crossing.
Day trips to Utö, Jurmo or Själö. Stay in Nagu — the connection ships depart from there.
